Oh, Italy. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways:

The food. The wine. The people. The art. The history. The views. The language.

Italy is the most popular destination that my clients visit so I have a lot of experience with customizing itineraries to this beautiful country. Most first-time Italy travelers visit the "Big 3" - Rome, Florence and Venice. They can be easily combined thanks to the high-speed rail system that connects these cities. Many choose to stay in Florence and do at least one day-trip into Tuscany to experience the wine and views of this countryside area.

Perhaps you've done the Big 3 already and want to check out other areas such as the Amalfi Coast, the island of Capri, Milan or the Italian Lakes. Or perhaps you want to spend more time in smaller towns in Tuscany and Umbria to "research" their amazing wines and cuisine in more detail.

Wherever you choose to visit in Italy, you are sure to be rewarded with sights, sounds and flavors that attract visitors to return again and again. I always warn my clients that Italy is addictive and you'll want to return even before you leave the first time!
